This Yoga Alliance Certified Classical Yoga training includes significant instruction in yoga philosophy, Sanskrit chanting, pranayama, asana, alignment, sequencing, teaching modalities, hands-on assisting, meditation, yoga anatomy, ayurveda, yoga mythology, and teaching diverse communities. We are influenced but not limited by Ashtanga Yoga, Integral Yoga, Black Lotus Yoga, and other classically-oriented traditions.

TRAINING SCHEDULE
You may miss one weekend and two Wednesday classes and make it up by viewing taped classes.
WEEKEND SCHEDULE
Friday online 6:00-8:00pm
Saturday and Sunday in-person 8:00am-2:00pm (200HR), 8:00am-4:00pm (300HR)
WEDNESDAY ONLINE PHILOSOPHY CLASSES - every Wednesday 6:00-7:30pm, September 3 - November 19.
WEEKEND DATES: The first and last weekends must be in person, and the 300HR retreat must be in person

All students are required to practice at AYC 2-3 times per week for the duration of the training and periodically assist in the Mysore room. They may alternatively practice with another qualified teacher. Unlimited pass to AYC is included in tuition Sep-Nov 2025.

COST: 200HR Course $2000 + $250 material fees; 300HR Course $2500 + $450 material fees. Incl Unlimited pass to AYC Sep-Nov 2025.
$500 non-refundable deposit required upon acceptance. If you are a graduate of the Ivy Yoga School you receive a $500 tuition discount.

To apply for this course you must have practiced yoga consistently for at least one year. You will need a letter of recommendation from a yoga teacher unless you are a member of AYC.
