JUNE 17-18: RESTORATIVE INTENSIVE/Teacher Training with Marla Cantor
Restorative Yoga postures are supported with bolsters, blocks and blankets, and are held for an extended period of time—it’s all about relaxation. First introduced in the 1960s by yoga master B.K.S. Iyengar, Restorative Yoga was created for students with injuries or illness and those who could not practice the more vigorous styles of yoga. Today, Restorative Yoga is practiced in health clubs, hospitals, and yoga studios by participants who are looking for deep rest and relaxation.
In this Restorative Teacher Training and Intensive Student will learn about the benefits of Restorative Yoga as well as how to effectively and safely guide a class of their own. Marla will share her knowledge that she has gained over the last 12 years of studying this practice with many well know teachers in this fast growing style of yoga practice.
