Which Class is for You?
We offer 3 introductory classes a week at the Belmont location. These classes move at a slower pace to help the practitioner learn the poses and theory of Ashtanga Primary series, as well as spend more time on alignment and details.
You are welcome to join any of the mysore classes and begin your practice in this setting. The teacher will help you get started teaching the basics of the ashtanga method.
Belmont Introductory Classes:
Sundays at 12:30pm
Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:00pm

We offer a traditional Mysore-style class (NOT a lead class) in the mornings and evenings. In the Mysore method, each student has an individualized practice which is developed and overseen by the teacher. Postures are learned one by one and as they are mastered, the student gradually builds a personal practice. During Mysore, students of all levels practice at their own pace and the instructor is available to help with the postures by means of hands-on adjustments and sequencing assistance.
