Teen Yoga Program

We offer classes for high school and middle school girls throughout the school year.
Classes are a playful practice that keeps teenagers’ bodies strong and flexible while also providing time for reflection and deep relaxation. Correct alignment in the postures is taught while helping students understand correct postural alignment in the rest of their lives.
Yoga can help teen athletes reduce injuries and build strength for any sport they may be engaged in. In addition, teen yoga provides techniques for stress and anxiety management by helping students calm their own nervous systems. Compassion for self and others is emphasized in every class.
Twice a year (Winter and Summer) Nora offers a 3-day Immersion.
During yoga immersions, students learn to develop an independent home practice that strengthens and stretches their bodies and also cultivates of a sense of calm and reflection.
